Climate, Nature & Sustainability Storytelling.

A lot of people come to me asking for better content. That’s usually not quite where the problem sits. The real issue tends to be something like:

What's usually missing is the story underneath it.

A few of the organisations I’ve worked with and supported.

What I do

I work with organisations and leaders in climate, nature and sustainability to make complex work easier to understand, trust and act on. Sometimes that results in a specific output. A positioning document, a knowledge product, a pitch, a clearer website. But the focus underneath is always the same – getting the story right before anything else.

How I approach the work

I start by listening because the gap between what an organisation is doing and how it’s showing up externally is usually more interesting than it first appears.

I’ve been in enough of those conversations to know that what looks like a content problem is often a positioning problem. And what looks like a positioning problem is sometimes just a question of who the audience actually is, and whether the work has been translated for them yet.

Who I work with

The people I tend to work with already know their subject deeply. They’re not looking for someone to explain the space to them. What they need is someone who can sit close to the work, understand the nuances, and help shape how it comes across to the people who matter most.
